International Coastal Cleanup Singapore (ICCS) is an annual international event that takes place in 70 countries. In Singapore, it draws over 3500 volunteers to help clean up along the coastal areas. The volunteers of this programme will aid in removing any non-biodegradable trash along the coastal lines. ESESC is proud to have been a part of the programme where we have helped remove a significant amount of trash each year and raised awareness about the pollution Singapore’s coastlines experience.

Industrial Visits allow Environmental Engineering students to have a glimpse of what to expect in the future when working in the environmental industry. ESESC will organize trips to various companies every year that are related to an environmental engineer’s line of work, for which students can sign up for free. In previous years, students have visited NEWater, the Yakult factory, and Marina Barrage.
This event serves to congratulate the seniors on successfully graduating by giving them a night to remember. The target audience for this event will include the graduating cohort of students and the faculty staff and professors. Dinner will be provided together with an array of events like performances, lucky draws and games for the graduates to enjoy themselves together one last time.
In order to ensure the well-being of students amidst the stressful exam period, ESESC provides welfare packs to students about 1-2 weeks before the exams start. These packs contain a range of items including snacks, stationary and vouchers. The welfare packs are a way to supplement students with the materials they would need and a form of motivation to push through the exams.
